I have a confession; I am distracted by visual input all the time. From graphic design, illustration, interior design to photography, film, ethnicity and art. I find it all fascinating and most importantly, it inspires me endlessly.

One of my favourite things is people-watching. I love to observe individuality and recognise the uniqueness in everybody. Beauty is everywhere for me but in my photographs I create my own environment, personas and fantasy worlds. There is an underlying narrative in my work which offers viewers a glimpse of other worlds, different to their own. And you will find strong, bold colours in my work, these are my signature style and a reflection of my origins. I was born and raised in Brazil as the daughter of Dutch parents with Indonesian roots.

In my photographs I want to create a feeling, tell a story, and make a statement.

My career started as a Designer in 1997 and in 2010 I decided to follow my dream and go back to school at the Fotoacademie Amsterdam. Four years later I graduated with a BA in Photography and in 2016 I continued my professional development with a new study at Mastered: Photography with Nick Knight.

I currently live in the Netherlands and enjoy travelling when I can. My client base is global and ranges from small startups to large international companies. My portfolio has been recognised and published by leading magazines, including: PhotoVogue Italia, New Dutch Photography Talent, PERIOD. magazine, KODD and KALTBLUT.
